Lauren Lane stars as C.C. Babcock, the business partner of Maxwell Sheffield who works closely with him in managing his theatrical productions in "The Nanny."
Before joining "The Nanny," Lane builds a career in theater, television, and film. She performs in numerous stage productions, working with regional theater companies and appearing in plays that include both classical and contemporary material. Her stage work provides experience in dramatic and comedic roles and helps establish her background in live performance.
In addition to her theater work, Lane appears in television and film projects, taking guest and supporting roles in episodic television series. These appearances give her experience working with different directors, production teams, and ensemble casts prior to joining the cast of "The Nanny."
Outside of acting, Lane remains involved in theater and performing arts activities, including stage productions and educational programs related to acting. She continues participating in creative and theatrical projects while working in television.
